Plant part

Sugar lead[ˈʃʊgə liːf]

Definition:

Sugar leaves are tiny, protecting leaves that form around cannabis buds as the plant approaches its flowering stage. Sugar leaves, like buds, develop fragrant trichomes that protect the plant while also containing cannabinoids and terpenes, giving consumers high or even provide medical advantages. The trichomes give sugar leaves the appearance of being sprinkled sugar, hence their name.
