Ruderalis[Ruderalis]

Definition:

Cannabis ruderalis applies to a type of Cannabis plant grown in the wild and has adapted to harsh conditions. It is a marijuana plant that is incredibly tough and resistant. Ruderalis has a low THC content (3%) but a high CBD profile.

Cannabis ruderalis has the following characteristics:

  1. Smaller in height compared with sativa and indica, growing just 1 to 2.5 feet high
  2. Stalky
  3. Narrow palmate-shaped leaves
  4. Low flower production

Cannabis ruderalis, unlike other cannabis species, is “autoflowering,” meaning it will move from the vegetative to flowering phase regardless of whether the light cycle changes. This trait made growers use ruderalis in breeding new autoflowering Cannabis strains.
