Resin[ˈrɛzɪn]

Definition:

Plants exude a sticky, insoluble organic substance referred to as resin. Cannabinoids and terpenes are found in the resin of Cannabis plants. Cannabis resin acts as a defense mechanism for the plant during its growth cycle, protecting it from predators and pests.

Numerous plant parts can produce resin, but the buds of unpollinated female cannabis flowers yield the most. The resin, the most essential portion of the plant, is grown and extracted from female plants.

Popular Cannabis resin products are —

  1. Hash
