Polyhybrid[Polyhybrid]
Definition:
A polyhybrid describes a strain that is created by crossing two hybrid strains. Polyhybridization is an excellent breeding technique since it allows the combining of distinct features from a wide range of cultivars. These strains, however, are highly unstable and heterozygous, as one might expect. Thus, much effort is required to stabilize such kinds of strains.
