Plant part
Pollen[ˈpɒlɪn]
Definition:
Pollen refers to the powdery substance that carries the sperm cells of male Cannabis plants. Pollen is created and released by male plants through pollen sacs, and then it spreads through the air and pollinates female plants. The female will then produce seeds that include both male and female plant DNA.
Cannabis users do not desire to consume buds with seeds in them. This is why growers produce female-only plants. However, male Cannabis plants help make new strains. For this to happen, growers collect the pollens and keep them until they are needed for breeding.
