Mycotoxin[Mycotoxin]

Definition:

Molds and fungus produce mycotoxins, secondary metabolites which are the by-product of living organisms that break down organic matter. Aflatoxin and ochratoxins are two of the most common forms of mycotoxins linked to cannabis.

Cannabis mycotoxin testing is critical in the context of medical marijuana and its safety for patients and providers. Mycotoxins can be exceedingly dangerous to humans, especially if they are exposed for an extended time.
