Limonene is a fragrant cannabis terpene that is produced in the resin glands of the flower. This terpene is present as well in other citrus plants such as lemon, orange, lime, and grapefruit.

THC is the cannabis component responsible for the “high” feeling. While limonene is not directly accountable for a cannabis high, it affects the user to some degree. Limonene has been shown to have mood-altering properties, particularly in the cases of anxiety and despair.

Ongoing researches have given us information about limonene’s medical benefits. Some of these are the following:
