Plant part
Leaf[liːf]
Definition:
The Cannabis leaf is the symbol of the Cannabis culture today. Cannabis leaves are available in a wide range of forms and sizes. Most of them have five or seven points (blades), but some can have as many as nine. Short, thick leaves characterize indica plants, while long, slim leaves characterize sativas.
Cannabis plants require leaves to flourish. Akin to solar panels, leaves absorb light for the plant, allowing photosynthesis to occur. Discoloration in the leaves can indicate that the plant lacks certain nutrients.
Many users and growers differ regarding smoking pot leaves; therefore, marijuana buds are still the favored portion of the cannabis plant to smoke. Because some cannabis leaves have been treated with pesticides and fertilizers, you should avoid smoking them.
