Harvest[ˈhɑːvɪst]

Definition:

In the cannabis niche, harvest refers to the time of collecting cannabis buds after its flowering stage.

There are two known methods of harvesting cannabis:

  1. Wet trimming – This method entails cutting the plant down, removing buds from branches (a process known as “bucking”), trimming, and drying the plant all at once.
  2. Dry trimming – The plant is cut down and hanged to dry for several days with this trimming. When these are dry, the buds will be bucked and clipped from the branches.
