Definition:

Ethylene is a plant-manufactured hormone that encourages ripening and aging among plants. Ethylene is a hydrocarbon gas in nature that can also be produced artificially by burning and other means.

There is a scarcity of researches done about ethylene’s effects on cannabis. However, if ethylene is sprayed before flowering, the number of female plants may increase.
