Endocannabinoid[Endocannabinoid]
Definition:
Endogenous cannabinoids, commonly known as endocannabinoids, are chemicals produced by your body. Currently, experts discovered two endocannabinoids — anandamide and 2-arachidonoylglyerol.
THC has a molecular structure that is similar to anandamide, a brain neurotransmitter. THC can adhere to cannabinoid receptors on neurons in specific brain locations and activate them due to this similarity. The results are numerous mental and physical activities and causing pleasure, memory, thinking, concentration, movement, coordination, and sensory and temporal perception.
