Definition:
Edibles refer to any foods or drinks infused with cannabis. Consuming cannabis by eating and drinking goes a long way back. Bhang is a paste produced from the dried, ground, and soaked buds and leaves of the Cannabis sativa plant, mixed with meals and drinks. In India, Bhang has been consumed hundreds of years ago.
Today one may procure cannabis-infused baked products, candy, seasoning packets, cooking oil, chocolates, breath strips, mints, sodas, and many other goodies due to advancements in infusion technology.
