Plant part
Cola[kəʊlə]
Definition:
A cola, also known as a “bud site,” is a group of buds that develop close together. The primary cola, also known as the apical bud, forms at the top of the plant. On the other hand, lesser colas grow along with the budding sites of lower branches.
It is worth noting that the cola includes the entire flower and its relationship to the broader plant. Colas are located near the end of the main branch, where the flower (bud/nug) has the most access to sunshine and pollinators.
