Definition:

Carpel is the female plant part necessary for reproduction situated at the innermost whorl of a flower. The carpel is in charge of creating female sex cells, which will eventually turn into seeds. Each carpel comprises three structures in all plants, including cannabis: a stigma, a style, and an ovary
