Carb cap[Carb ˈkæp]

Definition:

Carb cap describes a dab rig accessory. Through it, airflow is restricted, and heat is trapped around domeless nails or bangers. With the help of a carb cap, the cannabis concentrate evaporates at a lower temperature, retaining the concentrate’s purity and flavor. The accessory is a favorite among low-temperature dabbers.

Domeless nails, curves, and bangers are standard features on open-air oil rigs. After heating the concentrate, a carb cap is fitted atop the dish on the nail, forming a chamber. The fumes are collected within the chamber and easily absorbed using the dab rig technique.

Quartz, titanium, ceramic, or glass are common materials for manufacturing carb caps.
