Cannabigerolic acid[Cannabigerolic ˈæsɪd]

Definition:

Cannabigerolic acid, or CBGA, is a minor cannabinoid formed by the cannabis plant.

CBGA is manufactured in the trichomes of cannabis plants and induces targeted plant cell necrosis for natural leaf pruning, allowing the plant to focus its energy on the flower.

While there has been a very scarce medical study on CBGA, yet preliminary findings suggest that it may have future benefits to the following diseases:

  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Metabolic disorders
  • Colon cancer
