Banger[ˈbæŋə]
Definition:
On a bong or dab rig, a banger is a dish used to evaporate cannabis concentrate. Bangers are available in a range of materials, including quartz, titanium, ceramic, and glass, and in a variety of sizes and styles. They can be heated either manually with a torch or electronically with a coil attached to a power source.
Bangers can be male or female and come in a range of sizes and shapes: 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, and so on.
Plenty of dabbers use a torch to heat their bangers. However, this practice may take some time and trial and error to discover when your banger reaches the temperature you desire.
Electric-powered heating coils can also be used to precisely heat your banger—switch it on and set the temperature. Instead of needing to repeatedly reheat a banger with a flame after it cools down, these coils can keep it at a preset temperature for a set amount of time.
