Autoflower[autoflower]
Definition:
As the name implies, autoflowering cannabis blooms on its own when it reaches maturity, regardless of whether it is exposed to natural or artificial light. This characteristic is first discovered among cannabis ruderalis plants. The small bushy plant automatically flowers, reaching complete maturation anywhere from 8 to 11 weeks in harsh climates and almost any growing conditions.
Although wild ruderalis cannabis plants contain little or no THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), breeders worldwide have created some incredible autoflower strains by crossing these wild kinds with some of the best commercial strains.
