Atomizer[ætəʊmaɪzə]

Definition:

Atomizers are the parts of a vape pen that provide the heat required to produce vapor. We’re specifically talking about a weed atomizer within the cannabis niche.

Cotton wicks, quartz, and ceramic are among the materials used in atomizers.

A wire is wrapped around a tiny ceramic cylinder in ceramic coils. These can endure high voltages and retain heat well.

Quartz coils are rapid to heat up; however, they don’t retain heat like their ceramic counterparts.

A coil of wire is wrapped around a bit of cotton wick in cotton wick atomizers. The element heats the cannabis oil once the wick absorbs it. The disadvantage of these atomizers is that the wick is quickly burned. Burning can result in an unpleasant taste, and the coil may require replacement.
